Domain commands allow for asynchronous delegation of work to other aggregates and therefore help foster a more decentral organisation.

Aggregates, sagas and long-running business processes can technically be treated as being identical patterns for all practical purposes.

I think that commands can and should, if needed and appropriate, be modeled as domain relevant “facts”, very similar to domain events.

I kick off a little series of posts. I want to shine light on commands, events, queries and reports and describe them as domain “facts”.
